Yippie Kai OH!

Cowboys are so amazing. The get to ride out into the sunset on horses. They're my inspiration for the day... their lives are dictated by what they want to do, when they want to do it. Plus, I'm really into riding/cowboy boots for spring, so it makes it all the better. :) I like all sorts and especially love that they are getting cheaper!

In other news, I got a pref party call! It was amazing, all rituals and candles and flowers. Makes me want to be in it more! 

Nervous!

I'm biting my fingernails. Well, not really, but if I was the type of person who bit their fingernails, I'd be biting them now. Its just about time to hear back from the sorority recruitment people to find out if I'm invited back to pref parties tomorrow. GAH! I can't believe I'm so stressed about something I did on what might be called a whim. Its funny how girls need to be recognized by other girls in order to be accepted. But, as terrible as it is, I am playing into that right now. What if I didn't impress them with my activities or maybe they didn't like my outfits or what if they decided that I'm too talkative, or not talkative enough? AH. There are so many variables. I have an hour and 15 minutes left to find out if they really like me or not. I'll keep it posted here. Wish me luck!

Turtles...

Or rather, their shells. I want one. Not a real turtle shell of course, I'm far too animal rights to take a turtle's shell. But a shell-type thing. One where I can just hide and sleep when I feel as sick as I do today. I'd probably decorate with all sorts of posters and some really comfy furniture. A bean bag chair, or something. I'd be Thumbelina sized and could go in there whenever I wanted. Sounds amazing.  

And so it begins...

The beginning of something new always sends that little flutter of excitement down your spine, makes your hair stand on end. So it is with this blog. It is named R words since I know I'll be doing mostly r-words on it... ranting, raving, reviewing, rambling. Maybe I'll throw in a few resolutions or some revelations. We'll see. As of right now, my only resolution is to write here everyday. So, here goes with the start of something new. Happy reading!
